Lurionyx is exploring a guided way to prepare and repeat Windows installation and first-time setup. The concept is not available, and no release timing has been announced.

The concept

Prepare a plan. Check it. Confirm it.

The proposed workflow would collect installation choices in one place and show their consequences before the user approves a change. It would not silently erase a disk or choose a target drive on the user's behalf.

Required checks

The safety checks come first.

Any future implementation would need to make these decisions visible and verifiable.

Backup confirmation

Require the user to confirm that important files are backed up and that the backup can be accessed before continuing.

Recovery keys

Check that required BitLocker or device recovery keys are available outside the machine being changed.

Disk erasure warning

Name the affected disk and partitions clearly, then require a separate confirmation for destructive operations.

Official Microsoft media

Use installation media obtained through official Microsoft channels rather than modified or unofficial images.

User-owned license

The user remains responsible for having a valid Windows license and complying with Microsoft's terms.

Final review

Show the complete plan, compatibility concerns, and expected data impact before asking for explicit approval.

Boundaries

Automation would not remove responsibility.

Installing Windows can permanently remove data. A future tool would still require the user to verify backups, recovery access, hardware compatibility, installation media, licensing, and the selected disk. No automated check can guarantee that every device, driver, application, or recovery path will work after installation.
